Combat system is solid and this game has hundreds of hours of combat and ways to approach the game multiple ways. It has the ability to create almost any strategy you can imagine with combative depth and has strong controls for manipulating how much RNG you want to go into combat. TL DR: This game has almost everything for a game of its genre. If you have a style, in some capacity, this game can manifest it and let it thrive to the fullest extent.

Later on in the game where it introduces affixes you can deal with by upping realm instability for greater rewards, creatures you have and your opponent has can get a bit complicated. If you want something simpler, classes like Hell Knight and Siegemaster have a much slower paced playstyle.
