The first reason why I disliked Bill was that he was boring and dull. After this, any and all charm fades fairly quickly. When we first meet him, he’s like the Colonel Sanders of Vampires, and it’s cute that his name is just “Bill” when someone might think it would be Antoine or Basel or.something ‘Vampire-ish’. We meet Bill at the very beginning of the series, and while he’s sometimes slightly, though corn pone-ishly charming at first, it becomes all too clear too soon that he’s not someone who has many if any at all enduring charming factors whatsoever. He was turned by Vampire Lorena Krasiki who then kept him for the next 40-some odd years as her personal plaything, a fate of which we all wish had lasted for the duration of his death.
